Following the latest update for B. Planning in JEE Main Exam 2020, we have compiled this blog for B.E/B.Tech, B. Arch and B. Planning admission to India’s most prestigious technical institution namely IIT. The latest addition to the paper pattern of JEE Main 2020 has been numeric value answer based questions.

The latest exam pattern for JEE Main 2020 covered changes in its structure, in addition to the types of questions and marking scheme. Paper 1 will be entirely computer-based with total marks of 300 covering numerical-value type questions and MCQs from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. B Planning and B Arch will have aptitude and mathematics sections in common with the third section of planning or drawing-based respectively.

JEE Main 2020 Question Paper:

# B.E/ B.Tech Question Paper will contain a total of 75 questions of 300 marks, with 25 questions per subject – Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, in addition to numerical value-based questions that have been added to the paper pattern of all the 3 papers.

# Marking method: Correct answers in MCQs and Numeric Value Answer-based questions will be provided with 4 marks each. 1 mark will be reduced for every wrong answer. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in numeric value answer-based questions and questions left unattempted. Drawing Test in B. Arch paper will contain 2 questions for 50 marks each.

# Exam Duration: The duration of B.E/ B. Tech, B. Arch, and B. Planning will be 3 hours each. Candidates can appear for both B. Arch and B. Planning. In such a case, the exam duration will be extended to 3.5 hours.

# Medium of Question Paper: For all JEE Main Exam centers, the question paper will be in English and Hindi.
